St Lucie Battery & Tire makes Top 100 Nationals List

Akron, Ohio: Tire Business Magazine, the United States  foremost industry resource data house has released its top retail dealership rankings for 2013 (as of Sept 2013).

St Lucie & Battery & Tire of Fort Pierce Florida has made the top 100 list in the category of “Largest Independent US Retailers” recently released by TBM data source. The dealership grew to twelve stores with the opening of three new locations in the past year which tied them for a “not too shabby” 73rd place nationwide.

Serving the Treasure Coast for over 40 years the company has gained regional market share selling over 8000 tires per month, and performing over 2000 oil changes monthly. The company now operates service centers in St Lucie, Okeechobee, Martin, Indian River and Palm Beach Counties.

Eleven of their locations provide full service maintenance and repair of passenger vehicles and light duty trucks by offering everything from tune-ups to oil changes, alignments to a/c service. Additionally, five of their locations provide commercial truck, fleet & RV service, as well as mammoth tractor tires to the agricultural industry.

“Our philosophy has remained the same since our humble beginnings in Fort Pierce.” said founder Joey Miller. “We provide honest and reliable service to everyone who walks through our doors.”

In early 2013 the company opened new locations in Jensen Beach, St Lucie West & West Palm Beach providing new job opportunities for skilled technicians and managers. The company now employs over 140 skilled workers, managers and administrative personnel combined.

Focused on continued growth for 2014 forward, the company has hired award winning agency TAS Advertising to lead the charge with new marketing campaigns which will include soon to be released TV commercials aimed at expanding awareness for the company and its services. The company’s growth indicators remain on track for continued market expansion as they move into 2014.
